Energy Demand Solutions and Automation (EDSA) is based in Johannesburg and is a black woman owned (BWO) Eskom registered Energy Services Company (ESCo). The company was formed in 2007 to capture the business opportunity of providing full turnkey energy efficient solutions for all market sectors in an energy stricken South African economy.

As an ESCo, EDSA is mandated for and on behalf of Eskom to engage consumers across all sectors of the South Africa economy to save energy through an incentivized funding model called Energy Efficiency Demand Side Management (EEDSM).
